BHA North American Rendezvous 2024

BHA'S NORTH AMERICAN RENDEZVOUS IS HEADED TO THE HEARTLAND!

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) established in 2004, we'll be celebrating 20 years of work on behalf of our public lands, waters, and wildlife at the Minneapolis Convention Center. We've got more stories to share than lakes in MN and 20 years of our members putting boots on the ground for conservation to celebrate.

Be sure to come and have your chance to celebrate with new and old friends alike all while raising funds to support our wild public lands, waters and wildlife! BHA’s North American Rendezvous is the year’s largest gathering of public lands and waters advocates.

Come to the Minneapolis Convention Center and find Snowtrekker- we have a booth there.

Total Archery Challenge - 7 Springs PA

Total Archery Challenge created the best outdoor sporting event in the United States. We combined all the exciting aspects of archery shooting to bring you an unforgettable three-day experience.  Archery courses are professionally designed to test the marksmanship of all skill levels. Each event includes over 100 3D targets which challenge shooters to adjust for distances, angles and natural obstacles.

Snowtrekker Tents will have a booth and tent set up.  Our tents are ideal for taking into the backcountry for hunting.

Winter Camping Rendezvous

The location has changed. Our event will now be held at the Kickapoo Valley Reserve in the gorgeous Driftless area of SW Wisconsin. The location change should put the event within a much more reasonable drive for almost all folks living in IL, IA, MN, and WI.

The campout is being held the same weekend as the Reserve's Winter Festival that takes place Saturday.  Winter Festival is a wonderful family event that highlights outdoor winter activities. Activities include sledding, skiing, snow sculpture, ice formation hikes, wildlife talks & hikes, face painting, horse-drawn bobsled rides, snowshoe exhibit, sled dog demonstrations! Bring your child and your dog and try out the Mutt Fun dogsled run. Conquer the snow mountain & snow tunnel. Test your skills at the Traditional Snow Snake Competition or Smoosh Races. Night winter activities can include star gazing and candlelight snowshoe hike.

One of the highlights of the Winter Camping Rhonda-vous is the sense of community it fosters.  Meet new friends and old while sharing your winter adventure experiences around a crackling campfire.  From Shared stories to collaborative campsite setups, explore the unique camaraderie that comes with braving the winter chill together.

OH!... and did we mention dining Al Fresco winter edition.  Embark on a culinary adventure like no other with a gourmet experience curated by renowned Chef Luke Zham from the Driftless Café.  Chef Zham will be cooking a Saturday evening community meal for the Rhonda-vous.  So don’t forget to pack your appetite because Saturdays meal promises to be a winter camping meal like no other.

The winter camping Rhonda-vous will run Thursday January 11th till Sunday January 14th.  Registration for the event is $20.00 per person.  All registration proceeds are donated to the KVR to help them continue connecting people to nature.  What you need to bring is a tent, whether it’s a hot tent or not and sleeping gear.  Firewood and porta potties will be provided on site.  Deadline to register is by January 5th to give Chef Luke a good count for the meal.

If you want to come to the Rendezvous after registration closes, please do and plan your own Sat meal.  Join the group at the campfire and share stories!

All money is donated to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve in appreciation of opening the campground to our group and providing us with firewood.  If you would like to make an additional donation to the KVR, please see one of the Snowtrekker family members.
